About The Position

Sodexo is hiring a full-time Clinical Dietitian to support Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center in Lancaster, PA. This role includes providing nutrition care for the hospital’s brand-new Level II NICU and cross-coverage for other inpatient units. NICU experience is preferred, but new graduates with a NICU rotation in their internship will also be considered. The position offers a collaborative clinical team environment where the dietitian can practice at their full scope, including order-writing, and make a meaningful impact every day. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian credentials and be licensed in PA (or eligible)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Be a self-starter and a team player
  • Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) OR Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire (RD/RDN credentials may be required at time of hire in some states/facilities)
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice (state certification/licensure may be required at time of hire in some states/facilities)
  • 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • NICU experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units, including NICU
  • Have order-writing privileges
  • Precept dietetic interns
  • Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
