About The Position

A Clinical Dietitian at OSF HealthCare is an expert in human nutrition and medical nutrition therapy. This role involves assessing the nutritional status of patients based on their individual needs and goals, then developing and implementing corresponding nutrition care plans. The Clinical Dietitian evaluates current nutrition status, formulates interventions, reassesses for changes, and records ongoing nutritional progress. They are an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, dedicated to helping patients and their support system achieve patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Food Science or Nutrition
• Credentialed Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian eligible through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (Illinois and Michigan) or must become registered within 6 months of hire
• Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist eligible (Illinois)
• Basic Microsoft application proficiency
• Previous experience with patients in a group or individual setting
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology and medical billing

Nice To Haves

• License Certified diabetes educator
• 1 year experience working with patients in a group or individual setting
