About The Position

Sodexo is seeking Dietitian Nutritionists to join our team at North Memorial Health - Robbinsdale Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN. North Memorial is a highly recognized 500+ bed hospital with a Level I Trauma Center. Additional services include ICU, Cancer Center, Heart and Vascular Care, Outpatient and Family Birth Center. These opportunities are ideal for both a new Dietitian, as well as a RD looking to expand their clinical skills: Fulltime - Inpatient and Outpatient Fulltime - Inpatient Health Benefits start on Day 1! 3 weeks’ vacation and three personal days! Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal! Money toward continuing education events! Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually!

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian credentials and are licensed in Minnesota
  • Prior clinical experience in an acute care setting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management and organizational skills and are self-directed
  • The ability to work well with multidisciplinary team including physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
  • Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Responsibilities

  • Provide nutrition care to patients in a variety of inpatient and critical care units, as well as Outpatient
  • Have order writing privileges to practice at full dietetic scope
  • Provide education for healthcare team members, patients and family members
  • Participate quality improvement projects and initiatives as part of the clinical team
  • Work occasional weekends as part of the team rotation
  • Precept dietetic interns
