About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian for Holy Spirit Medical Center located in Camp Hill, PA. This 300-bed, Level II trauma hospital offers a strong dietitian team and opportunities to grow skills across a wide variety of inpatient units and the long-term acute care hospital (LTACH). This position is suitable for both new graduates and experienced dietitians, and dietitians will have order-writing privileges.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credentials (or eligibility) and Pennsylvania licensure required (or eligibility)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good time management skills, be a self-starter and a team player
• Ability to work well with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (for those eligible for the registration exam on or after 1/1/24)
• Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24)
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units
• Perform quality improvement initiatives
• Weekend coverage only every 5th weekend, Saturday on-site, Sunday on-call
• Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
• Precept dietetic interns
