About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a part‑time Clinical Dietitian to join its respected clinical nutrition team at UH Ahuja Medical Center, a 153‑bed Hospital in Beachwood, OH. This role supports the medical–surgical units and collaborates closely with physicians and interdisciplinary staff in a highly supportive environment where RDs are well‑regarded. The schedule follows a two‑week rotation, with the dietitian working two days one week and three days the next, and requires availability on both Monday and Friday. We welcome applications from both new graduates and seasoned dietitians. Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian credentials (or eligible) and be licensed in OH
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player
  • Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical nutrition coverage for medical–surgical units
  • Exercise order‑writing privileges in accordance with hospital policy
  • Attend and participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) rounds
  • Complete nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Conduct process improvement activities
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and ancillary staff
