About The Position

Sodexo is excited to welcome a motivated Inpatient Clinical Dietitian to our vibrant clinical nutrition team at Lehigh Valley Health Network’s Cedar Crest Hospital—an 800‑bed, nationally recognized teaching hospital known for excellence and innovation in patient care. In this collaborative environment, you’ll play a key role in supporting high‑quality nutrition therapy for a diverse inpatient population. This part‑time opportunity (24 hours per week) is ideal for both new graduates eager to grow and experienced dietitians looking to make an impact in a dynamic clinical setting. Preferred workdays are Monday and Friday, with a third, consistent weekly day selected based on your preference—offering both stability and flexibility. Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials (or eligible) and be licensed in PA
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Good time management skills be a self-starter and a team player
Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Responsibilities

Provide evidence‑based nutrition assessment and intervention for diverse inpatient populations
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, and case management
Engage in interdisciplinary committees, research initiatives, and performance improvement projects within a highly academic environment
Utilize order‑writing privileges to optimize nutrition care and streamline patient management
Precept dietetic interns
