About The Position

This position is a dual position providing nutritional education and diabetes education. The Clinical Dietitian role directs and coordinates nutritional care to patients in assigned clinical areas. Responsible for performing nutritional assessments, developing, and implementing care plans, educating patients, and communicating with physicians and health team members. Pediatric experience preferred. Certified Diabetes Educator certification preferred. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutritional Sciences from an accredited college or university required.
  • Current applicable state(s) license as a Dietitian required.
  • Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration required.
  • Positions in Home Care will require a valid Driver's License to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
  • Two years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) conducting nutritional assessments and developing treatment plans for acute care inpatients and/or outpatients preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric experience preferred.
  • Certified Diabetes Educator certification preferred.
