Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Food and Nutrition, or a related field is required - Master's Degree preferred.
  • Must be a Registered Dietitian or RD eligible with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). If RD-eligible, must pass the examination and registration for RD designation within 90-days of hire.
  • If working in the outpatient environment, licensure in both states of Oregon and Idaho are required.
  • Must be licensed in state of employee's primary work location within 90 days of hire.
  • 3-5 years of clinical nutrition experience is preferred.
  • Must be proficient in using an EHR/EMR system.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments, including Nutrition-Focused Physical Exams when applicable.
  • Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized nutrition care plans.
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate Medical Nutrition Therapy.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and ensuring continuity of care through clear documentation and hand-offs.
  • Educating patients and families with meaningful, science-based nutrition guidance.
  • Serving as a resource and educator for internal teams and external partners.
  • Supporting initiatives in patient satisfaction, quality improvement, performance excellence, and regulatory compliance.
