About The Position

Responsible for the nutritional care of inpatients and outpatients as assigned. Conducts nutritional assessments, designs and recommends plans of care, evaluates and monitors nutritional intervention. Provides nutrition education to patients, families and staff. Teaches nutrition classes. Functions as a member of multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Serves as a nutrition resource for healthcare team, hospital staff and community.

Requirements

• Master's Degree if graduated after January 1, 2024.
• Bachelor's Degree from ACEND-accredited DPD program if graduated before January 1, 2024.
• NPI number required within 60 days of hire.
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of pediatric experience.
• Advanced certification (i.e. CNSC, CLEC/CLE, CSP, CDE).
• California Children's Services (CCS) paneled.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
