About The Position

Level I Responsible for the nutritional care of inpatients and outpatients as assigned. Conducts nutritional assessments, designs and recommends plans of care, evaluates and monitors nutritional intervention. Provides nutrition education to patients, families and staff. Functions as a member of multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Serves as a nutrition resource for healthcare team, hospital staff and community. Level II Same as Level I plus teaches nutrition classes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
• 1 year of experience for Level I
• Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
• NPI number required within 60 days of hire
• Meet all Level I requirements for Level II
• 3 years of experience for Level II

Nice To Haves

• 3 years of experience for Level I
• CCS paneled
• Bilingual English and Spanish for Level I
• Master's degree or advanced certification (i.e. CNSC, CLEC/CLE, CSP, CDE) for Level II
• 4 years of experience for Level II
• Bilingual in English and Spanish for Level II
