VCU Health Massey Cancer Center is one of two NCI designated comprehensive cancer centers in Virginia. It has earned a reputation for providing cutting-edge cancer care and groundbreaking research to fight cancer. Part of that care includes promoting adequate nutrition before, during, and after cancer treatment. Our team of Registered Dietitians play a tremendous role in designing nutrition treatment plans that help patients navigate each of these stages. We are looking to hire more RDs to join our team and support patients with breast, gyn, head/neck, and lung cancers. Excellent communication skills are a must for precepting dietetic interns and daily interactions with a variety of health care providers. Nutrition support skills are needed to manage enteral nutrition when appropriate. We offer a Clinical Ladder to allow for growth opportunities in leadership, professional development, and research.
