You can also follow us on Twitter and Facebook. Position Summary: This grant-funded position focuses on delivering specialized nutritional care to individuals living with HIV/AIDS. Key responsibilities include: Providing medical nutritional therapy by assessing nutritional status, developing a care plan to maintain or improve nutritional health, and evaluating patient responses periodically. Modifying the care plan as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. Offering counseling to patients and/or families on food requirements, eating habits, and therapeutic nutrition. Collaborating with healthcare providers, case managers, and community partners to develop and implement nutrition plans that support clients' health and well-being.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in clinical nutrition.
  • Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Licensed Dietitian through the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services.

  • Strong knowledge of HIV/AIDS and its impact on nutritional status.
