Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Must obtain Florida license within 6 months of employment.
• Registered with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and evaluate all phases of patient nutritional care, including patient therapy and education.
• Monitor the nutritional health of patients to see that dietary recommendations are being followed.
• Encourage patients to eat and counsel patients and families on nutritional modifications.
• Proactively work with all related departments (medical, nursing, pharmacy, etc.) conducting nutritional screenings and assessments.
• Prepare plans and evaluation techniques according to the standards of care.
• Involve in staff training, orientation of new dietitians, continuing education and represent UFHCF professionally and ethically as required.
• Fill in other roles/positions as necessary or any other duties as assigned by a Manager.
