The Clinical Dietician at UnityPoint Health in Fort Dodge is responsible for providing education to outpatients, inpatients, and other staff/community groups regarding diabetes and the existing population. This full-time position requires 32 hours of work per week, specifically from Monday to Friday, 7:45 am to 4:00 pm. The role emphasizes the importance of personalized nutrition screening, assessment, and education for all ages at the Diabetes Center and Healthy Living Department.

  • Provide personalized nutrition screening, assessment & education for all ages at our Diabetes Center & Healthy Living Department.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to deliver top-notch outpatient care.
  • Lead community and professional workshops, plus nutrition consulting across UnityPoint Fort Dodge and partners.
  • Help shape innovative programs and coach employee wellness.
  • Embrace varied caseloads, continuous learning, and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics/Nutrition.
  • Completion of an accredited Dietetic Internship or equivalent Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) approved program.
  • Licensed by the Iowa State Board of Dietetics Examiners.
  • Valid Iowa driver's license.
  • Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist certification preferred.
