About The Position

This is a remote, field-based position. The ideal candidate should reside in the Minneapolis area, with potential to cover other parts of Eastern Minnesota as needed.

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience coordinating and conducting patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate as a clinical expert to patients and healthcare providers.
  • 1 year of related diabetes/endocrinology industry experience preferred.
  • RN, RD or RPh or equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience.
  • Advanced Diabetes Education Professional Credential (CDCES or BC-ADM) certified or eligible.
  • Maintenance of registration and licensure through clinical education.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with video remote education preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Tandem Diabetes products and clinical services within an assigned territory in partnership with a Territory Manager.
  • Work together with the territory sales team to plan and ensure achievement of sales goals through clinical acceptance of Tandem products' insulin pump therapy.
  • Identify potential customers and establish business relationships to facilitate the sales of Tandem Diabetes' products and clinical services.
  • Provide account sales support and continuing education in direct contact to patients, physicians, and their staff on the technical use of insulin pump therapy.
  • Promote Tandem Diabetes products and services by providing additional education on diabetes self-management skills and emergency management.
  • Partner with the Territory Manager to drive sales growth and support business objectives in the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with healthcare providers to support the adoption of Tandem Diabetes products and services.
  • Identify and qualify sales leads and execute effective strategies to convert prospects into customers.
  • Deliver compelling clinical and product presentations that differentiate Tandem's offerings.
  • Provide in-person and virtual training to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals on Tandem's insulin pump products.
  • Educate customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and Tandem's role in improving diabetes outcomes.
  • Support onboarding and recertification of Tandem Pump Trainers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve post-sale issues and optimize patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and territory activity using CRM tools.
