About The Position

The Clinical Data Engineer is a journey level position focused on collecting, analyzing, and visualizing clinical data to support healthcare decision-making. This role involves working with diverse data types from millions of clinical encounters, utilizing analytical methods such as visualization science and predictive modeling. The Engineer will collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to evaluate new measures and design impactful data visualizations, ensuring analytical discipline within the Clinical Analytics team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of relevant data analysis experience, preferably in a biomedical setting.
• Experience with database query and analysis languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, D3).

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification in an IT discipline, application, or tool within 2 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze clinical data from various sources.
