About The Position

The Clinical Data Analyst at Piedmont Healthcare is responsible for organizing and analyzing data to support process improvement initiatives across various clinical areas and programs. This role involves data abstraction, entry into databases, generating outcomes reports, and serving as an educational resource for clinical data registry members. The analyst will also be responsible for ongoing data collection and validation for various reports and projects.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing or Bachelor's Degree in a health-related field with a focus on quality.
• Three years of previous experience in healthcare, information management, clinical data abstraction, data analysis, or quality role.
• Current R.N. licensure in the state of Georgia if applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Training or background in advanced spreadsheet or database software programs.
• Experience in presenting data using presentation software.
• Knowledge and experience in clinical data abstraction and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Organize and analyze data to support process improvement initiatives.
• Abstract and enter data into required databases.
• Develop and generate outcomes reports and disseminate them to applicable parties.
• Act as an educational resource for other members of the clinical data registry.
