About The Position

Cardiology Consultants of Philadelphia (CCP) is a professional medical organization and part of Cardiovascular Logistics (CVL), dedicated to providing high-quality cardiovascular care. CCP specializes in comprehensive cardiology care across over 30 locations in the Philadelphia area. This full-time Clinical Coordinator position is located at the Chestnut, PA office and includes a $500 sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Knowledge of Hospital and Procedure scheduling
Must have the ability to multitask
Must be detail oriented and well organized

Nice To Haves

Cardiology experience is a plus
Electrophysiology device knowledge is a plus
Experience with an EMR system is a plus

Responsibilities

Schedule patient appointments, testing, follow-ups, and surgical procedures
Coordinate surgical scheduling to ensure a smooth process for patients and clinical teams
Obtain prior authorizations and precertification for office testing and procedures, including Echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, stress echocardiograms, vascular testing, home sleep studies
Review testing instructions with patients and confirm upcoming appointments
Enter charges during patient visits and designated downtime
Handle high-volume inbound and outbound calls using proper phone etiquette
Record and relay messages accurately using EMR workflows and appropriate medical terminology
Route urgent or emergency calls appropriately
Support front desk operations by greeting patients, verifying demographics and insurance, and collecting copays
Perform general clerical and administrative duties as needed
Maintain accurate contact information for physicians and staff
Complete other duties as assigned
