How you’ll contribute A Clinical Coordinator who excels in this role assists with the daily coordination of personnel and resources within the scope of assignment. They also act as the liaison between the nursing departments and all the ancillary departments to promote continuity of care, optimal patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, cost efficiency and compliance. Specific duties include: Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities and performance evaluations. Collaborates with physicians, nursing, pharmacy and other healthcare team members/departments to determine, coordinate, and provide medical nutrition therapy. Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of clinical services. Mains constant communication between all nursing areas and the registration area to facilitate a smooth throughput of patients. Provides basic direct patient care as needed. Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity. Provides ‘just in time’ education for staff. Assists physicians with procedures. Reports all incidents or unusual events to their director or appropriate leader. Understands and practices within the scope of practice as an RN. Requirements

  • Applicants should have an associate degree in nursing with a bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • RN license in good standing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
