About The Position

Pacific Clinics is California's largest community-based nonprofit provider of behavioral and mental health services and support. Our team of more than 2,000 employees speaks 22 languages and are dedicated to offering hope and unlocking the full potential of individuals and families through culturally responsive, trauma-informed, research-based services for individuals and families from birth to older adults. The Clinical Coordinator will manage and supervise a cohort of 6 graduate students who are completing their practicum requirement as part of an Outpatient team. This position will require providing individual and group supervision to the intern cohort as well as full-time staff. This position will provide weekly didactics on a variety of clinical topics, as well as hold a small caseload. Clients served include those on Medi-Cal ages 6-26 years old and their families. A strong clinical foundation with an understanding of working with families and trauma is desired.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree (M.A.) in Social Work, Marriage and Family Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
  • Current California Licensure as LCSW, MFT, or licensed psychologist required.
  • Valid licensure for a minimum of two (2) years.
  • Minimum four (4) years direct clinical experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Management experience preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience of clinical staff and interns preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates clinical service oversight with CPM and/or Clinical Director.
  • Ensures program and staff are in compliance with regulatory standards and community standards for documentation of care.
  • Provides guidance and information to Program Supervisors, Managers, and/or Directors so they may coach, develop, and/or discipline staff.
  • Leads delivery of clinical services through the development team plan and implements individual service and safety plans for children and families in program.
  • Provides direct clinical work with all populations served.
  • Develops, implements and oversees clinical training for staff.
  • Provides clinical supervision to unlicensed clinicians from other agency departments.
  • Facilitates Clinical Rounds.
  • Supports development of current and future programming.
  • Builds strong collaborative relationships with internal and external customers, including payors.
  • Represents program and agency in the community and functions as program's liaison with numerous local universities, providing written evaluations of graduate students' fieldwork or practicum experience at the agency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support program or department business need.
