About The Position

DaVita is seeking a Clinical Coordinator Registered Nurse to lead inpatient dialysis care for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and chronic kidney disease. This role involves a blend of direct patient care, clinical leadership, and team coordination within a hospital setting. The Clinical Coordinator RN will be responsible for overseeing patient care, supervising Patient Care Technicians, and ensuring high-quality dialysis care in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of practice
• 3 years of Dialysis experience required
• CPR certification required
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience, including 6+ months of dialysis experience
• Charge RN readiness approval required
• ADN required
• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook)
• Must pass pre-employment color vision test (accommodations available)
• Full vaccination against COVID-19 is required by hospitals in this program, which may include a booster when eligible

Nice To Haves

• ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience preferred
• CNN/CDN certification preferred
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for ESRD patients, including tracking labs, vital signs, weight, and clinical outcomes
• Supervise and support a team of Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
• Deliver high-quality dialysis care in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
• Train and mentor clinical staff
• Float between facilities as needed and work a flexible schedule (including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays)
