About The Position

The Clinical Concurrent Reviewer position exists to support Quality and Performance Improvement at Holy Cross Hospital by assisting staff to implement strategies that identify, prioritize, measure, and improve key clinical processes and outcomes. As a Clinical Concurrent Reviewer you will: Maintain current knowledge of clinical indicators and compliance requirements. Provide concurrent medical record review to assess documentation compliance and facilitate recommended interventions. Manage tools to collect outcome data and providing regular feedback to individuals, managers and leaders. Identify staff learning needs related to clinical measures and providing/referring for unit-based education and training. Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of the Performance Improvement Plan for the Hospital which may include Peer Review, OPPE Review clinical case review, eCQM validation data abstractions, and data entry and focused data abstraction for PI initiatives. Assist staff to identify, prioritize, measure and improve key clinical processes and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in MD (required)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a hospital setting abstracting data for the National Hospital Quality measures or other registry (preferred)
  • Prior experience in performance improvement and/or outcomes management (preferred)
