About The Position

The Clinical Concierge at Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care plays a vital role in enhancing the consumer experience during urgent care visits. This position involves guiding consumers and their secondary guests through the entire visit, maximizing throughput, and delivering clinical excellence. The Concierge is responsible for various clinical functions, including assisting providers with care and treatment, conducting laboratory testing, performing x-ray examinations, and managing patient registration and discharge. The role requires maintaining competency across all assigned positions and working closely with the Site Manager and clinical staff.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required.
  • Completion of approved NCT training program Required.
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant education program Required or completion of a vocational nurse program Required.
  • 6 Months Previous health care facility clinical experience as a LVN, MA, CNA, or other patient care Required.
  • 6 Months Previous x-ray experience or completion of an internal THR NCT training program in lieu of experience Required.
  • NCT Registered by the Texas Medical Board Upon Hire Required.
  • LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse State of Texas, if LVN Upon Hire Required.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of hire Required.
  • THR Urine Drug Collector training within 30 days of hire Required.

Nice To Haves

  • 6 Months Previous experience as licensed NCT Preferred.
  • Previous experience with electronic health records Preferred.
  • Straight-arm x-ray and orthopedic experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Guide consumers and secondary guests through the urgent care visit.
  • Assist providers with care and treatment.
  • Conduct laboratory testing and x-ray examinations.
  • Perform patient registration and collect payments.
  • Document vitals and communicate data to consumers and providers.
  • Document chief complaints, allergies, health history, and current medications in EPIC.
  • Administer and document medications as per protocols.
  • Assist providers with procedures and maintain sterile fields.
  • Perform diagnostic x-rays and ensure proper documentation.
  • Build trust and relationships with consumers and secondary guests.
  • Recognize and notify providers of emergent patients.
  • Schedule primary care referrals for consumers.
  • Maintain office and medical supplies at appropriate levels.
  • Perform quality checks throughout the facility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
