CCTs in the Adult Medical/Surgical Float Pool care for patients on each of the Adult Medical/Surgical Units, including the ICU and Emergency Room. The role also includes shifts caring for at-risk patients 1:1 and in the tele-sitter office, which is virtual monitoring of patients with verbal redirection. Job Overview The Clinical Care Technician works under the supervision of a professional nurse and collaborates to meet the needs of the patient within the scope of the role. This role assists in direct patient care, provides environmental support, and facilitates patient safety on designated unit and other units as needed.
