About The Position

The Clinical Care Technician (CCT) provides direct patient care activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN). The CCT will promote and implement, in conjunction with the RN, the concept of patient and family-centered care. The CCT observes and reports patient s responses to intervention/treatment. They will greet and escort newly admitted patients, prepare patient environments for admission and/or transfer, and assure patients have appropriate identification bands on at all times. The CCT will also assist with feeding, bathing, and other duties associated with different patient care needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• AHA BLS prior to start date required.
• Completion of a nursing fundamentals course and/or Certified Nursing Assistant program preferred.
• Previous experience as a Clinical Care Technician (CCT) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) is highly preferred.
• Oncology, Med Surg, Telemetry, and/or acute clinical experience desired.
