Clinical Care Coordinator Medical Assistant/MA-C at Swedish Medical Group Please note the following important details regarding this position: This role is a virtual position The virtual work schedule will be defined by manager and departmental needs This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below: Renton, Washington Metpark in Seattle, Washington Work Week: Monday - Friday Work Shift: Day Job description: The Clinical Care Coordinator MA-C will play an integral role in the functioning of Swedish Medical Group's Population Health team, which delivers an improved care experience to the patients we serve, while enabling the organization to successfully deliver on its organizational value oriented/accountable care commitments. The Clinical Care Coordinator's primary responsibility will be to deliver on these priorities through patient care coordination, navigation and support of quality workflows. Swedish Medical Group (SMG) provides an extensive range of ambulatory services to patients throughout the Puget Sound. Requirements

  • Coursework/Training: Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, or Coursework/Training: Completion of a registered apprenticeship program, or Coursework/Training: Completion of post-secondary education with a clinical externship
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
  • 2 years healthcare experience

Nice To Haves

  • Upon hire: Active national Medical Assistant Certification through a recognized organization such as AAMA, AMT, RMA, CCMA or NCCT
  • 3 years work experience in an outpatient/clinic/ambulatory setting

Responsibilities
