Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant Course
• Listed as a CNA on the Georgia Registry
• Graduate of a U.S. Military Medic course
• Emergency Medical Tech with one (1) year experience
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing assistance and patient care for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living and performs procedures for physical hygiene and comfort of patients.
• Performs duties within the construct of a unit‑based, self‑directed, multidisciplinary patient care team while sharing various tasks with other licensed and non‑licensed members.
• Performs general clerical and reception duties according to needs of patient unit or department.
• Prepares and maintains patient charts, transcribes physician orders, and enters information into computerized patient care system.
