About The Position
Lahey Hospital & Medical Center is seeking an experienced full-time BC/BE Clinical Cardiologist with advanced echocardiography expertise to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at our main campus in Burlington, MA as the Associate Director of Advanced Echocardiography. This is an outstanding leadership opportunity to join a nationally respected cardiovascular center known for delivering high-quality, comprehensive heart care. Position Highlights Co-Lead a busy academic, advanced echocardiography program with: Over 20,000 transthoracic, 3,000 stress and 1,500 transesophageal studies per year. High volume intraprocedural TEE and structural heart echocardiography. 23 full time sonographers and 21 cardiology faculty echo readers. Robust echocardiography educational program with dedicated weekly imaging conferences as well as active integration of echo teaching in subspecialty clinical conferences. Opportunity for continued leadership growth. Provide consultative ambulatory and inpatient cardiology care for complex, referral patients. Strong emphasis on clinical excellence and teaching.
Requirements
- BC/BE Clinical Cardiologist
- Advanced training in advanced echocardiography as well as 3-5+ years post-fellowship experience.
- Strong record of academic contributions and education in advanced echocardiography.
- Commitment to exceptional inpatient and outpatient cardiology care.
- Passion for clinical education.
