About The Position
The Clinical Business Operations Representative 3 (H) facilitates the prompt resolution of problems related to pre- and post-care that arise in daily clinical operations. The incumbent performs general administrative and receptionist functions, to include answering incoming calls, efficient management of patients, and the acquisition of necessary patient care and records. The Clinical Business Operations Representative 3 (H) assists patients in a courteous, efficient and professional manner and ensures adherence to divisional and departmental service standards. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
- Experience Obtaining Insurance Authorizations

Responsibilities
- Prepares authorizations for Pedi Endo Procedures
- Responsible for authorizations for procedures that include growth hormone stimulations tests, radiology, and inpatient hospitalization.
- Scheduling of appointments for all physicians in practice as well as international patients and scheduling for diagnostic procedures.
- Facilitating messages to doctors and staff including refill requests.
- Prepares deposits of financial checks received for medical records for the division.
- In charge of medical records, which include handling of records for patients, other offices, as well as legal record requests.
- Coordinator of procedures performed at Jackson Memorial outpatient clinic (ACC).
- Provides invite to the provider who will be performing the procedure(s) and all fellows.
- Prepares all documentation from the authorization for scanning.
- Documentation of Procedure in UChart to include authorization/referral information.
- Back-up to medication specialty coordinator for Growth Hormones.
- Completes EMR requests requesting authorizations, appointments, medical records and provider and patient messages.
- Places orders for supplies
- Bump list rescheduling
- Clinic closure or adding schedules through Uconnect team
