About The Position

Oversee financial, personnel, administrative, operations, facilities, and practice aspects for the Oral Maxillofacial Surgical Clinic, Periodontic Clinic, Ambulatory Surgical Center, and the DCG D3 Student Clinic. Responsible for working directly with Department Chairs, Program Directors, and Associate Deans to manage and promote patient-centric care and student & resident enrichment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or related field.
  • Five years of office management experience to include supervisory.

  • Clinical operational experience.
  • Experience with scheduling and finances.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate personnel hiring/interview process in four departments and clinics.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide guidance and training to ensure that employee performance meets established standards.
  • Counsel/discipline employees as necessary.
  • Prepare key requests, employee health forms, clearance forms, and other administrative documents as required, including credentialing documents to grant hospital privileges for OR, ED, and CHOG.
  • Oversight of the administrative operations and staff management for the clinical front desk personnel of four clinics.
  • Manage patient registration, scheduling, and financials including collections and insurance.
  • Monitor and react to metrics related to patient appointments and account inquiries.
  • Oversee the adjustment of charges on patient accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
  • Oversight for the planning, implementing, and evaluating dental assisting support activity for four clinics.
  • Maintain a scheduling matrix to analyze and forecast staffing requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with emergency protocols and maintain emergency carts.
  • Approve clinical supply requisitions and plan, audit, and reconcile clinical budgets.
  • Develop business opportunities that expand clinical practice.
  • Provision, audit, and de-provision of user security for various health informatic systems.
  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of data collected.
  • Maintain standard operation and training manuals and coordinate training for students, residents, and faculty.
  • Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
