We are seeking an experienced and skilled Audiologist to join our team at our Cumming, GA location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations to diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders. This role requires a commitment to providing patient-centered care, educating patients on hearing loss and treatment options, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The Audiologist will conduct various diagnostic evaluations using specialized equipment such as audiometers, otoscopes, and tympanometers, and will interpret test results to diagnose conditions like tinnitus, vertigo, and hearing loss. In addition to diagnostic responsibilities, the Audiologist will develop and implement treatment plans that may include hearing aids, counseling, and other therapies tailored to individual patient needs. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient evaluations and treatment plans is essential. The role also involves providing patient education on hearing loss, treatment options, and the maintenance of hearing aids. The Audiologist will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and speech-language pathologists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Staying current with the latest research and technologies in audiology is crucial for this position. The Audiologist will also perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing office supplies, while demonstrating excellent customer service and communication skills. Maintaining a clean and organized office environment, adhering to aseptic techniques, and following all safety protocols are also key responsibilities. Participation in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the development of department policies and procedures will be expected.
