Requirements

High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma.
NOTE: Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.

Responsibilities

Assist with direct and indirect patient care activities under the guidance of a Registered Nurse
Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming perioperative environment
Clean and disinfect patient rooms and clinical areas following established safety and infection‑prevention protocols
Perform room turnovers, including routine, terminal, and precaution cleaning (training provided)
Prepare patient care rooms to ensure they are organized, stocked, and ready for the next patient
