We are recruiting a Clinical Associate Physician in Gastroenterology with an interest in General GI. This individual should have expertise in any number of disease or treatment groups such as IBS, GERD, and colon cancer screening. Candidates should be competent in performing EGD and colonoscopy with polypectomy. Proficiency in ERCP and/or EUS is not required. Salary and rank will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Primary responsibilities of this position may include providing Emergency Department and inpatient coverage and expanding outpatient clinical care at UCI Health community clinical sites in Laguna Hills and other UCI locations. In addition, candidates have the potential to earn additional compensation with incentive eligibility on top of the base salary contingent on performance and responsibilities. Requirements

Demonstrated experience in quality improvement to improve patient outcomes.

Candidates must possess a M.D. or D.O. degree
Board-certified and have California licensure
Active and current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
Experienced in providing and/or oversight of care
