We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Assistant to support our orthopaedic team in delivering high-quality patient care. The Clinical Assistant will play a key role in assisting physicians during examinations, preparing patients for procedures, maintaining medical records, and ensuring a smooth clinical workflow.

  • Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness for patient visits
  • Greet and prepare patients for examination, including taking vital signs and medical history
  • Assist physicians with orthopaedic procedures such as casting, splinting, and wound care
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Manage and maintain inventory of clinical supplies and orthopaedic equipment
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate imaging studies, and process referrals
  • Educate patients on post-visit care, use of orthopaedic devices, and rehabilitation instructions
  • Communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare providers to support care coordination
  • Comply with infection control and safety protocols at all times
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a certified medical assistant program preferred
  • Previous clinical experience in orthopaedics or related field highly desirable
  • Knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, medical terminology, and orthopaedic procedures
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred
