Aid dental students, dental therapy students, faculty and licensed dental staff in services rendered to patients.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant preferred, not required. Other experience and qualifications will be considered.
- If LPN, graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the State of Minnesota required.
- If Medical Assistant, graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program and current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.
- Ability to understand patients’ medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.
Nice To Haves
- Dental coursework preferred.
- Experience in a dental office or medical facility preferred.
- Medical and dental terminology knowledge.
- Infection control practices and OSHA regulations.
