Requirements

  • A motivated, team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • A passion for patient care and interest in sports medicine or orthopedics
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to travel between clinic locations throughout the week
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education preferred
  • Proficiency with email and internet-based applications
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively educate patients
  • One of the following licensure/certifications required: Athletic Trainer: BOC certification and State of Tennessee AT license Registered Nurse (RN): Active State of Tennessee RN license Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Active State of Tennessee LPN license Medical Assistant: Certification or registration through an accredited national institution

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients and exam rooms to ensure an efficient and smooth clinic flow
  • Assist providers by gathering patient history and updating electronic medical records
  • Support clinical procedures such as suture removal, injection preparation, and brace fitting
  • Communicate patient conditions, injuries, and updates clearly with providers
  • Coordinate and schedule surgeries and follow-up appointments
  • Educate patients on treatment plans, both in person and over the phone
  • Accurately document office visits and patient interactions
  • Help carry out physician orders to support high-quality patient care
