About The Position
The Meadow Lake Primary Health Care Clinic Assistant is an integral member of the Meadow Lake Primary Health Care Clinic team. The Clinic Assistant is responsible for assisting providers in delivering high quality primary health care to patients and their families by providing reception and clerical duties required in an office setting, as well as assisting in pertinent non-invasive/non-interpretative clinical procedures. Requirements
- Medical Office Assistant certificate (MOA)
- Advanced - Written Communication Skills
- Intermediate - Keyboarding skills
- Intermediate - Computer skills
- Basic medical terminology
- Advanced - Verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPA
- Ability to recognize and maintain confidential information
- Ability to use and maintain basic medical equipment and monitoring devices
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to be self-directed
- No guaranteed hours
