About The Position

MN Urology is currently seeking a full time Clinical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (CMA/RMA/MA). The position is located in our Robbinsdale, MN clinic. The working hours are Monday-Friday with regular daytime hours, and there are no evening, weekend, or holiday shifts required. Minnesota Urology is the largest independent urologic specialty practice in the state of Minnesota and was formed as an integration of Minnesota's two most respected independent urology practices; Minnesota Urology and Urology Associates. Requirements

• Medical Assistant (MA, RMA, CMA, NCMA, CCMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Must be a graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• At least one year of previous clinical experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant strongly preferred.
• CPR Certification preferred but may provide certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine office procedures and testing in a safe and effective manner.
• Effectively communicates via telephone and in-person in a courteous, prompt and polite manner.
• Documents all information accurately in EMR.
• Identifies patient education needs and provide information.
• Communicates effectively and professionally with providers, clinic director, nurse manager, co-workers and patients.
