About The Position
Indiana University School of Dentistry invites applications to fill two full-time clinical assistant professor positions in the department of Comprehensive Care and Allied Professions. This will be a 12-month appointment type at either 0.80 or 1.0 FTE. The department's vision includes strengthening the transition of students as they progress from pre-clinic to clinic in preparation for private practice. Our campus's bold new vision through the IU Indianapolis 2030 strategic plan is designed to 1) increase the number of job-ready graduates for an innovation-led economy, 2) fuel economic growth in the region and the state, and 3) enhance service to the Indianapolis community and beyond. Expectations of our two positions include didactic and clinical instruction in comprehensive care at the pre-doctoral and graduate level; performing services necessary to implement the educational programs and academic objectives of the department; and supporting the structures and practicing the values inherent in a progressive entrustment model. Additional responsibilities consist of scholarly activity as well as engagement in service at the department, school and university levels.
