About The Position

The Clinical Assistant Professor’s primary contribution centers on clinical work at UNC Horizons, where they provide direct, evidence-based behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment for pregnant and parenting patients. Through clinical supervision of behavioral health staff and mentorship of MSW trainees, the Clinical Assistant Professor also helps develop a skilled workforce prepared to deliver perinatal mental health and substance use treatment in integrated care settings. Complementing this clinical service, the Clinical Assistant Professor engages in research, education, and program leadership that strengthen UNC Horizons’ academic and clinical mission.
