About The Position

This position offers a unique opportunity for clinical and educational research in the field of Vascular Surgery. The role involves teaching two vascular fellows as part of a 5+2 program, with one fellow per year, as well as general surgery residents, including six chief residents each year. The position also includes a mandatory call schedule of 1:5, providing a balanced work-life dynamic. Additionally, there is an opportunity for a part-time position at the Syracuse VA Medical Center.

Requirements

• Board certified or eligible in Vascular Surgery.
• Possess broad clinical skills in the treatment of arterial and venous disease.

Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor two vascular fellows annually as part of the 5+2 program.
• Instruct and supervise general surgery residents, including six chief residents each year.
• Engage in clinical and educational research in Vascular Surgery.
• Participate in a mandatory call schedule of 1:5.
