About The Position

The Ithaca College School of Health Sciences & Human Performance invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Director of Clinical Education and Clinical Instructor/Clinical Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology. This is a non-tenure-eligible multi-year renewable position, with an initial three-year term and periodic reappointment review. The successful candidate will serve as the Director of the Sir Alexander Ewing Speech and Hearing Clinic, which includes coordination of clinical practica and fieldwork.

Requirements

• Master’s, SLP-D, or PhD in communication disorders or related field.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
• New York State licensure in speech-language pathology within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years professional experience as a practicing Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical supervisory experience, including completion of ASHA’s required 2 hours of continuing education in clinical supervision.
• Evidence of leadership potential and administrative capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Potential for excellence in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Managing clinic operations and providing administrative leadership.
