About The Position

This is a half time (.5 FTE) twelve month position, that will contribute to the teaching, scholarship, and service expectations of a faculty role in the School of Nursing. The emphasis is on teaching, and evaluating students and the continued development of the School of Nursing program.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Nursing
• Recent experience in teaching in a baccalaureate-nursing program
• Evidence of scholarly productivity
• Unencumbered State of Idaho RN or APRN Licensure

Nice To Haves

• Doctoral Degree in Nursing (Ph.D. or DNP)
• Two years experience in on-line teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-line instruction and support for undergraduate students.
• Teach didactic, clinical, or lab content providing needed flexibility in course assignments.
• Active engagement in research and/or scholarship.
• Advising students.
• Serve on Committees in the School of Nursing, Division of Health Sciences and or the University.
