The University of Florida-College of Dentistry is seeking an Oral Surgeon for a clinical track faculty position in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) teaching within the predoctoral program. This position will be part time, 4 days per week. The University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD) is one of the leading dental schools in the United States devoted to improving and promoting oral health throughout Florida, the nation and worldwide through excellence in teaching, research, patient care and service. The position will be responsible for teaching within the Student Oral Surgery Clinic at the pre-doctoral (DMD) level, excelling in academic pursuits and service. The position will provide clinical teaching to DMD students and aid students with determining restorability of teeth and making appropriate referrals when necessary. The position’s minimum requirements include: DDS, DMD or equivalent degree. Advanced training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery specialty from a CODA-accredited postgraduate program. Board Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
