Northern Illinois University (NIU) is a Carnegie Doctoral/Research University-Higher Research Activity located in DeKalb, IL. The Speech-Language Pathology program is part of the interdisciplinary School of Allied Health and Communicative Disorders and offers a bachelor's degree in communicative disorders, a master's degree in communicative disorders with a specialization in speech-language pathology, and a multicultural certificate in speech-language pathology. Faculty in Audiology, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology collaborate in clinical and research endeavors.
