About The Position

The Department of Psychology at Oklahoma City University invites applications for a non-tenure-track clinical faculty position beginning in Fall 2026. The area of specialty is open; however, candidates with expertise in adult mental health-particularly in gerontology, substance use disorders, or rural mental health-are encouraged to apply. Primary responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in our APA-accredited, contingency status PsyD program in Clinical Psychology, supervising graduate student research, and providing clinical supervision. There may also be opportunities to contribute to the undergraduate psychology program. This position offers a multi-year initial appointment, renewable upon successful performance reviews. Requirements

  • Ph.D. or PsyD in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the evidence-based practice of psychology
  • Record of teaching excellence at the university level
  • Experience mentoring graduate students in clinical training and research
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Licensed or license eligible (pending state specific requirements) as a psychologist in the State of Oklahoma
