About The Position

This faculty member will be responsible for administrative support to the clinical Ph.D. program and its initiatives. The role includes oversight of clinical Ph.D. students who are being directly supervised in external practicum sites, as well as the cultivation of external practicum sites in the Hampton Roads community. Additionally, the faculty member will be expected to teach graduate courses in the clinical PhD program and/or undergraduate courses in the Department of Psychology to support the ODU teaching mission. The position also involves assisting with program initiatives to reduce mental health care disparities in the community.

Requirements

  • Prior experience with community engagement for developing or delivering clinical services.
  • Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level.

Nice To Haves

  • Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia by fall 2026.
