About The Position

Indiana University School of Dentistry ( IUSD ) invites applications for the position of clinical assistant professor to teach in our Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program on the IU Indianapolis campus. This is a 0.80 FTE , 12-month, non-tenure track position. This full-time position requires 1) delivery of didactic, laboratory, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction to dental hygiene students with a focus in courses such as clinical practice, pharmacology, nutrition and periodontics. 2) Other important expectations include development and updating of courses, student advising, academic scholarship and service commitments (e.g. participation in university and professional association committees and activities). With faculty dedicated to and focused on each of our students’ maximum development and growth, our Indianapolis program ranks among the best in the nation in student pass rates on clinical, state and national examinations.
