About The Position

Indiana University School of Dentistry ( IUSD ) invites applications for the position of clinical assistant professor to teach in our Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program on our Fort Wayne campus. This is a 0.80 FTE , 10-month, non-tenure track position. This full-time position entails delivery of didactic, laboratory, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction to dental hygiene students with a focus in courses such as clinical practice, dental materials, and periodontics. Other deliverables include development and updating of courses, student advising, academic scholarship and service commitments (e.g. participation in university and professional association committees and activities). Our faculty are dedicated to each of our students’ maximum development and growth. Our Fort Wayne program ranks among the best in the nation in student pass rates on clinical, state and national examinations.
