We are seeking a per diem Clinical Assistant to join the team within our Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This position will start at BCH Lexington and transition to BCH Needham upon completion of the ambulatory care building (anticipated to open January 2026). Key Responsibilities: Following established procedures and instructions, providing basic direct care to patients as delegated by a Registered Nurse. Assisting patients with feeding and hygiene, obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature, pulse and blood pressure, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of unit as needed. Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed. Assisting with stocking and sanitizing with the post anesthesia care unit, and setting up bed spaces for patients. Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse. Answering, screening, and routing telephone calls and performing general office support tasks. Scheduling, receiving and/or registering patients, visitors and staff for appointments or procedures. Collecting, verifying, and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions Working across perioperative services within Lexington/Needham
